The North Shore K Family with the North Shore Key Club and Kiwanis Club always welcomes in the holidays by ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Organization at Waldbaums in Glen Head and Stop & Shop Store in Glen Cove. The event begins on November 29th and continues every weekend until December 24. Pictured are the members of both clubs beginning their 9 days of HO HO HO Service. NORTH SHORE KIWANIS CLUB AND KEY CLUB JOIN HANDS FOR CHILDREN
The North Shore Kiwanis Club is very active with a variety of programs with children being priority one. Sponsoring the North Shore Key Club is a wonderful experience and together they join hands many times throughout the year. Pictured are club members in a joint project donating children’s books to Winthrop Hospital and the pediatric unit care center. NORTH SHORE KIWANIS HOSTS THE US ARMY
The North Shore Kiwanis Club hosted a very memorable program for its membership. On December 4th at the Swan Club Sergeant Shawn Scott from the Army’s New York Recruiting Battalion was invited to address the Kiwanis Club regarding today’s Army and its shared values of service leadership and education with Kiwanis International. This was a first presentation of its kind in New York State for the collaboration between the military and the community. Pictured is Sergeant Shawn Scott with Kiwanis President Julia Salat.
