BAGGATAWAY GETS UNDER WAY WITH NORTH SHORE LACROSSE CLUB'S ANNUAL PASTA DINNER
March 11, 2015 -- More than 300 people attended the North Shore Lacrosse Club's annual Pasta Dinner this past Tuesday evening at the North Shore Middle School. The annual event, held for the past decade, allows players at all levels - from those newly introduced to the game through the early grade club teams to those competing at the High School Varsity level - to get together and celebrate the start of the season.
"This event is a great way for our younger club players to get to eat and interact with the high school players," said Lacrosse Club President John Russo of Sea Cliff. "Tonight is the night to talk and meet the older kids." Both the Women's and Men's JV and Varsity teams were called to the stage with each player introduced, and for high school seniors moving on to a college career, they proudly announced the school they will be attending in the fall. "We have been hosting this event for 10 years or so in order to bring every age group together." said Matt Nizich - former NSLC president and organizer of this years event. "This is far and away our largest turnout ever." Click here for more information about the North Shore Lacrosse Club |
