Beginning Wednesday, November 4th, the Sea Cliff Arts Council presents a very special exhibit at Sea Cliff Village Library. The artwork of children from SCO, in Sea Cliff will be on view for the months of November and December. Please join us for the art opening this Wednesday, November 4th, from 5:30 to 7 pm. The Robert J. McMahon Children’s Center (RJMCC), located in Sea Cliff is a Residential Treatment Center providing 24-hour nursing care, social services and a variety of therapies to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. The beautiful campus is home to 73 vibrant and talented young people between the ages of 9 and 21 years, who excel in a variety of areas including sports, dance, and as you will see in the upcoming show at the Sea Cliff Library, the visual arts too. The Recreation department, and art therapy program at RJMCC are dedicated to using the creative arts to engage and stimulate our youth, while allowing them to explore their creativity, individuality, and independence through art-making.
