THE TEM-PISSED PERFORMED BY THE SILLY SHAKESPEARE COMPANY OF SEA CLIFF
On Saturday September 26, 2015, at 5:00 pm (Rain date Sunday, Sunday September 27 at 5:00 pm), The Silly Shakespeare Company of Sea Cliff, sponsored by the Sea Cliff Civic Association, will perform The Tem-Pissed at the Sea Cliff Art’s Pavilion a FREE SHOW.
The Tem-Pissed, is a combination of The Bard’s play The Tempest and a Caribbean Island Theme. The Tempest was one of William Shakespeare’s last plays and explores concepts concerning the fleetingness of life and forgiveness. On the other hand, The Tem-Pissed explores themes of kicking back, letting go and having a bit of fun. The producer, writer, actor and director Elizabeth Sehring says; “There is no better way to end the summer than a play and a beer”. So bring your beach chairs down to the Sea Cliff Art’s Pavilion on Saturday, September 26, at 5:00 pm to celebrate the close of the summer arts season with live theatre. This year the production will be performed using a new sound system - so the audience can finally hear the bloody actors. The cast includes; Brent Albala, Lorraine Baker, Karin Barnaby, Jeff Blinkoff, Russell Charno, Ann DiPietro, Dan DiPietro, Phil Essex, Roberta Fox, Carolyn Mazzu Genovesi, Kevin McDonagh, Lesley Pryde Haley, Peter Luftig, Elizabeth Sehring, Adira Schiff, Phil Schiff and Rob Wilgoos.
